Amidst the pool of up-and-coming artists, Mia Langridge is one to watch with her compelling indie-folk pop tunes, destined for stages worldwide. Based in Brighton, Langridge is making her mark with her candid, diary-style songwriting, turning her experiences of adulthood into catchy, confessional tracks.

Following a successful breakout in 2025, which included the release of her first three singles “Every Single Lifetime”, “Let It Be” and “Birthday Party", Mia scored herself a deal with Pool Valley Records, as well as grabbing the attention of pop-enthusiasts across Brighton, building herself a cultivated fanbase who have packed out venues across the city on her behalf. Since signing to the Independent Label, Langridge has been working on her fourth single, “Big Bang”, a track exploring the themes of anger and resentment, accompanied by an upbeat, bouncy melody. “I wrote the song about being told you’re the problem by someone who can’t control their feelings”. ‘Big Bang’ symbolises an explosion of emotions without considering the consequences or taking any blame. Mia’s newest track is available to stream now on your platform of choice, and trust me, you’re going to want to hear this one!
In preparation for her upcoming release, the Pool Valley team, Mia and her treasured childhood dollhouse headed to the windy South Downs for a packed day of content creation. “I wanted to use the pink dollhouse to symbolise childhood and letting go of that, and I chose the Downs to show a loneliness, that I’m alone and in the middle of nowhere’. After carrying the dollhouse into the depths of foggy fields, all whilst battling a heavy downpour, Mia smashed it to pieces to signify releasing herself from her childhood. The visuals flawlessly convey the elements of frustration and avoidance of confrontation detailed in ‘Big Bang’, proving once again that Mia Langridge knows exactly what she’s doing.
Following the anticipated release of ‘Big Bang’, Mia will be returning to the stage for a single release show at The Prince Albert in Brighton, taking place on Monday, 13th April, hosted by Pool Valley Records. Ticket details to follow. In the meantime, don’t forget to stream ‘Big Bang’!
